Fast Creative Inc. was founded by Colin Wiebe in 1997. Colin gained his creative insights and experience as the Senior Creative Director of advertising for Pacific Press Newspaper Group in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Managing a team of graphic artists, Colin’s department produced ad campaigns and special sections for advertisers running in both of Vancouver’s major daily newspapers, The Vancouver Sun and The Province. His department also supported over 75 sales people.
Colin was responsible for consulting with corporate advertisers and developing in-house initiatives as well as designing promotions for internal and external events such as the widely popular, worldwide 10K race, the Vancouver Sun Run.
Colin pioneered one of North America’s first digital advertising departments. Pacific Press was the first newspaper in North America to be 100% paginated and became a model for many to follow.
Consulting on the digital pagination workflow, Colin developed the first online outsourcing model before broadband or browsers existed. Colin’s business model code-named ADRATS (an acronym for Ad Design Remote Artists Technology Systems) was a concept that mainstream media would not adopt until much later.
Colin left the newspaper business to follow the opportunities offered during the dot com bubble. He founded Fast Creative and took on the role of Creative Director for a number of start-up ventures. Fast Creative took it’s first client from $0 revenue to $6 million in sales in less than one year. That’s pretty fast.

Colin is also the founder of Imagination Park Entertainment, a publicly traded Company on the Canadian Stock Exchange specializing in feature film development and virtual reality content.
